Drumheller

Situated in the heart of the Canadian Badlands, Drumheller is home to dinosaurs, coal from days gone by, and unparalleled scenery. With a population of 10,000 Drumheller and surrounding area has a vibrant business community based, among other things, on agriculture, tourism, and natural gas and oil.  We have been fortunate enough to reinvest over $39,000 back into our community through the Western Communities Foundation. In 2011, Drumheller made a major contribution to its citizens by helping to construct the Badlands Community Facility.  An all-in-one sports, recreation and meeting area.  The BCF boast a brand new library, work-out facility, walking/running track, indoor fitness centre, indoor play centre, small accessible meeting rooms and a large banquet facility.  Through the generosity of the WCF – we were able to contribute $25,000 over 5 years to this project. We are truly proud to be part of this lasting legacy for generations to come.
