Our team at Western Financial Group in Hanna, Alberta was thrilled when they learn they had been selected to receive one of 20 Anniversary gifts to give to a charity of their choice. They chose to donate the funds to the newly revamped breakfast program at Hanna JC Charyk School. This is a free program that is available to students throughout the entire day.
"The program is essential to making sure all students are able to focus and do their best with a full belly, and good nutrition. Worrying about hunger and nutrition should be the last thing any child has to deal with at school. We support and admire the JC Charyk school for ensuring no child falls through the crack when it comes to this issue." Aimee Peterson, Western Financial Group. Along with the $1,000 donation, the staff from our Hanna team also dropped off 220 chocolate banana bread treats for the elementary children.
