The Foundation’s Matching Grant program matches funds raised by branch/location staff in support of a local community project through initiatives such as bake sales, staff jeans day or
prize draws.
Since its launch in 2005, the Western Financial Group Communities Foundation has awarded more than 351 Matching Grants which
amounts to almost $416,830 invested into our communities.
Our teams are hard at work throughout the year fundraising for their selected project, of which the grant program will match what has been raised to a total of $500.
The matching grants are for communities served by Western Financial Group, Western Coast Insurance Services, Wyatt Dowling Insurance Brokers, Orr & Associates, DMW Insurance, and Axion
Insurance Services.
All of our grant applications are submitted via our Western Financial Group and affiliate branches, if you have a project or charity you would like to bring forward, please contact
your local branch and ask for their Communities Foundation Champion.
In accordance with the program guidelines, grants must be awarded to municipalities or registered charities.
